Transform your will into a force for good - without compromising your family’s future.
Introducing the GOOD GIVE.
Did you know?
You can make a significant donation to charity in your will… WITHOUT this having a major impact on what you leave for your children, your relatives or your other beneficiaries.
Many people would like to make a donation to charity in their will, but they think every pound they donate will be a pound less for their children or other beneficiaries.
This is not necessarily the case.
Why is this?
When you die your relatives may be liable to pay inheritance tax on anything you leave to them, after your tax-free allowances are taken into account. Currently Inheritance Tax is set at 40% but the tax rate drops to 36% if you make a significant donation to charity.
Not many people make use of this 36% tax allowance but if more of us were to do so we could make a big impact and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.
We call this… THE GOOD GIVE.
“The GOOD GIVE is a fantastic opportunity for everybody who may be liable for Inheritance Tax. It enables them to create something truly special. It could channel hundreds of millions of pounds into charitable good causes if more people understood it and were encouraged to make use of it.”
